Description
The SIG Sauer P320 Full-Size is a modern, modular striker-fired pistol built for duty, competition, and serious range use. It offers a proven track record of reliability and a straightforward design that appeals to both new shooters and experienced enthusiasts. Since arriving on our shelves in mid-2024, this model has shown a remarkably low return rate, with customers consistently getting exactly what they expect from this platform.
Why This One?
- Modular Fire Control Unit (FCU): The serialized trigger group is the firearm’s core. This allows you to easily swap grip modules, slides, and barrels to change caliber, size, or ergonomics without a new serialized part.
- Proven Duty-Grade Reliability: The P320 platform is the U.S. Army’s M17/M18 service pistol. This full-size variant delivers the same robust performance and consistent trigger pull.
- Excellent Out-of-the-Box Ergonomics: The grip angle and texturing provide a secure, natural point of aim. The controls are intuitive and easy to manipulate.
- Optics-Ready Platform: The slide is milled to accept SIG’s Romeo1Pro optic footprint, making it ready for a red dot sight without needing an adapter plate.
- High Value for a Complete Pistol: You get a fully assembled, ready-to-shoot firearm from a top-tier manufacturer, offering more versatility than many competitors at this price point.

Q & A
Is this the same P320 used by the military?
The core operating system and Fire Control Unit (FCU) are identical to the U.S. Army’s M17 variant. The commercial P320 Full-Size features a manual safety lever slot in the frame, but does not include the safety lever unless specified. The performance and reliability standards are the same.
What does ‘modular’ mean for this pistol?
The serialized component is the internal trigger group (FCU). You can remove it and drop it into different SIG-approved grip modules (small, medium, large) and slide assemblies (carry, compact, subcompact) in minutes with simple tools. This lets you reconfigure one FCU into multiple pistol sizes or calibers.
Is it ready for a red dot sight?
Yes. The slide comes milled from the factory to directly accept SIG Sauer’s Romeo1Pro red dot footprint. For optics with different footprints (like Trijicon RMR), you will need an adapter plate, which are widely available.
