Description

The P322 COYOTE is a purpose-built, compact slide assembly designed for the SIG P322 platform. It’s for shooters who want a durable, lightweight upgrade with a distinctive finish. Since we started carrying it in early 2024, it has become a consistent reorder item due to its popularity. The Coyote Tan coating is not just for looks; our staff notes its toughness after multiple aggressive cleaning cycles.

Why This One?

  • Proven Durability: The Coyote Tan PVD coating is highly resistant to wear and solvents. Our team has verified it holds up through repeated cleanings with Hoppes No. 9 without degrading.
  • Optimized Weight: At a verified 1.1 ounces, it reduces slide mass for potentially smoother cycling, especially with standard-velocity .22 LR rounds.
  • Direct Compatibility: Designed as a drop-in upgrade for the SIG P322, requiring no gunsmithing for installation.
  • Distinctive Profile: The Coyote finish provides a tactical aesthetic that stands out from standard black slides while reducing glare.
  • Reliable Supply: We maintain consistent inventory due to its high customer demand, ensuring it’s ready to ship when you are.

Q & A

Does this slide come with iron sights or an optic plate?

No. This is the slide assembly only. You will need to transfer your existing iron sights or purchase new ones separately. It does not include an optic cut or mounting plate.

Is the finish as durable as a standard black nitride slide?

In our experience, yes. The PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) coating is a hard, ceramic-like finish. While different in color and process from nitride, it has shown excellent resistance to solvents and handling wear in our testing.

What tools are needed for installation?

You will need a punch set and a small hammer to drive out and reinstall the roll pin that secures the striker assembly. The process is straightforward and mirrors the factory assembly. Always ensure the firearm is unloaded before beginning any work.
